This was easy and delicious. Traveled well too! I mixed the taco seasoning up with the sour cream and added a tablespoon of salsa to the beans to make them more "dippable". Added chopped green onions to the top and will add cilantro next time. Love it.
Just okay. The beans should be drained.
I made this recipe tonight exactly as written. It was both easy & great tasting. It was a hit! I'll be making this again. Thank you for posting.
Yumm! We served the Guac. on the side b.c not everyone likes it...great dip! Thanks for sharing!
Simple and delicious. It was like eating a taco salad! Family hit!
I have made a 7 layer mexican dip very similar to this. I like adding the taco seasoning to the sour cream. I like also adding fresh lime juice to the avocado or guacamole. I have never added salsa but I bet it would be great! I have also added chopped green onions. It is always great no matter the variation!
Maybe I was expecting too much from this, but I was disappointed. Between the shredded lettuce, shredded cheese, and onions in the salsa, the texture was too stringy. The beans seasoned with the taco seasoning had an odd, slightly bitter/sour taste. Although it wasn't terrible, I won't make this again.
Simple & Delicious...my new go-to dip!
Made this for the SuperBowl. It was easy to make and very good. I did what others suggested and added taco spice into sour cream.
Was easy , but like another reviewer said - a bowl doesn't work! I put mine in a 13x9 glass casserole dish. Also did not used taco seasoning in the beans, instead I mixed in some Salsa Ranchera with the beans to spice it up a bit more. Used lots of sliced black olives in it also. Love the dip
