A dessert made in many Indian households. I got it from a colleague's wife. A simple recipe, but it takes practice to make it perfect
- Mix all the ingredients, put in a heavy bottomed vessel and put on the flame.
- Stir continuously for 20 minutes. Reduce the flame during the last 5 minutes.
- Remove from the flame when the mixture leaves the sides of the vessel.
- Pour it in a flat dish/tray and cut into squares when cool.
