  1. Fill the crock pot with alternating layers. The first layer is onions, lemon slices, and some of the herbs and pepper. On top of that, place 4-5 chicken breasts. Alternate until all the ingredients are used up.
  2. Pour the chicken broth into the crock pot.
  3. Cook on high for 6 hours or on low for 8-9 hours.
