This is a great "light" dessert that can be made very low fat using the Lower fat versions of the cream cheese, milk, cool whips. I always make this for Pot Luck's and it is always a favorite. So many of my friends have asked me for the recipe, so here it is!!!

Ingredients Nutrition

  1. 1st layer: heat oven to 350°F.
  2. Mix all the ingredients together (will be on the dry side) and use fingers to evenly pat down into the bottom of a baking dish about 9x13 size.
  3. Bake for 25 minutes to form crust.
  4. COOL before 2nd layer.
  5. 2nd layer: Mix all ingredients together and put all on top of the crust.
  6. 3rd layer: Open can of Cherries and spread out over 2nd layer.
  7. 4th layer: Mix the 2 pudding boxes and the milk together and spread out over the cherries.
  8. 5th layer: Spread out the Cool Whip on top of the pudding mixture and grate the Hershey bar over the whole thing.
  9. Put the entire dish into the fridge to set up.

This was amazing and so good! I made alot of changes. I only used half a stick of butter in the first layer to cut the fat. In the second layer I used Neufchâtel cheese and 1/2 cup of splenda in place of the sugar. In the fourth layer, I only used vanilla pudding because my husband hates chocolate. And I left the Hershey bar off the top. So I adjusted this recipe to be lower fat and sugar and it was absolutely awesome. Thanks for posting.

This reciepe was truly a delight to fix and serve. Everyone loved it! Including the kids. Sometimes I use blueberry instead of cherries. I was a bit confused on what size of pudding mix boxes to use. I used the small. Thank You for posting this one.
