40 Clove Garlic Chicken Wings

These wings are wonderful! Serve with crusty french bread to dunk in garlic mixture. Add a green salad and you have a great dinner.

The garlic is to die for and the wings were good. I used Ouzo instead of the Pernod. After they baked for 1 hour I put them under the broiler for 4 minutes which was perfect. I think these would have more flavor if you marinated them for a few hours. Made for *Twelve days of Christmas recipe swap 2008* game from the *Aus NZ Cooking Forum* This was a *pressie* recipe

  1. Preheat oven to 425°F.
  2. Place wings in a single layer in large baking dish (9x12-inch).
  3. Combine remaining ingredients and pour over wings, distributing garlic cloves.
  4. Cover, bake for 1 hour. Uncover and broil until browned.
