40 Clove Garlic Chicken Wings

These wings are wonderful! Serve with crusty french bread to dunk in garlic mixture. Add a green salad and you have a great dinner.

  1. Preheat oven to 425°F.
  2. Place wings in a single layer in large baking dish (9x12-inch).
  3. Combine remaining ingredients and pour over wings, distributing garlic cloves.
  4. Cover, bake for 1 hour. Uncover and broil until browned.

The garlic is to die for and the wings were good. I used Ouzo instead of the Pernod. After they baked for 1 hour I put them under the broiler for 4 minutes which was perfect. I would like to review this recipe again, with the new revisions of the oil, it is wonderful, if there is any left, it also is good chilled, the flavors are great!!
