I used only 1/2 cup sugar, but it was terrific and easy, a total repeater!!

This is the same as my grandma's recipe also, minus the celery. It is so good - much better than what you can buy at the store, and so easy/cheap to make. Our kids LOVE this recipe. Eat your beans!

Loved this recipe- made it for a picnic. Family loved it. I used fresh yellow and green beans because there in season. I steamed them for a few minutes, drained the beans and placed on a bed if ice for a few minutes.
