I am not a chili person but even I enjoy this version. Don't be frightened by the number of ingredients, they are mostly common seasonings.

  1. Brown ground turkey and sausage. Drain grease.
  2. Add the rest of the ingredients EXCEPT the corn chips and cheese. Stir everything together then reduce heat and cover. Simmer over low heat for 2 hours, stirring occasionally.
  3. After two hours, taste and adjust seasonings. This recipe is not very spicy, if you would like spicier, add more cayenne, chili powder and hot pepper sauce. The longer this chili simmers, the better it tastes.
  4. Serve with corn chips and cheese.
