really good and easy to prepare. I used 3/4 cup homemade pesto sauce, 8 oz. spaghetti, 1 tbsp of butter (instead of 2) and 1/2 lb chicken instead of 1 lb (added some broccoli to make up for that).
I have this exact recipe in the Campbell's cookbook. It is super easy and so flavorful...I also add in a cup or two of cooked frozen peas! I could eat this all day :)
Huge hit with the family, and SUPER easy!
My family liked this. I just added some cut up broccille.
I really wanted to like this recipe, but the flavors were just downright terrible! I think the cream of chicken is what ruins it and gives it a tangy flavor that completely overpowered and ruined the what should have been the delicious flavor of the pesto. I would make this again sans the cream of chicken.
Oh my gosh so easy and so delicious!!!! Thank you for posting, made my day!
This was very easy and quick to prepare, not to mention so flavorful! Paired it with garlic bread and dear BF loved it! Made enough to have leftovers for lunch the next day :) Thank you for posting.
Quick, easy and tasty!! I sauteed red onion, garlic, pancetta then added my chicken cubes and cooked til done. I used cream of mushroom soup, some store bought classico basil pesto and my own arugula/spinach/parsley pesto I had in the freezer. I cooked up a full pkg of liguine and added by handfuls til it was at the consistency I wanted keeping in mind that it would thicken up my sauce. Will repeat this for a quick weekday meal
I added extra pesto (homemade from this summer that was frozen) and I also cut up some mushrooms and some canned artichokes and added them to this and it was fabulous. Only used 1T of butter as well because pesto had the EVOO on the top of it to keep it from browning in the freezer. Would totally make this again.
This was quick and good. I added some garlic to give it a little more oomph. UPDATED: I used cream of mushroom with roasted garlic soup and my BF was very pleased with this dish! And I whipped it up after a 10-hour work day. Perfect!
