I read other reviews and made sure to hold each nugget over the oil for a few seconds to drain it before letting it sit on some paper towel as it cooled. Turned out nice and crispy; recipe reminded me of battered halibut. If you're doing this to be healthy and want a little more flavor, use a couple tablespoons of vinegar as your dip ;)

  1. Cut chicken breasts into bite-sized pieces and begin heating the oil in a pan.
  2. Combine flour and salt in a bowl. In a smaller bowl, combine vinegar and baking soda.
  3. Pour the vinegar and baking soda mixture into the flour mixture along with the 1/3 cup of water.Stir to smoothen the batter.
  4. Coat chicken piece in batter and let excess batter drip off before placing it into your hot oil. Fry till nice and golden brown.
