This makes a very spongy dough, dries out quickly. Although the buns are quite sweet, so many may like the taste, the recipe is not well balanced. There is a high ratio of water plus two eggs, to the flour, and it states 4-6 servings, yet uses up to 9 cups of flour -- that should give you a hint that this is not a well tested recipe and it shows in the results. Finally, with 2 hours of rise time, less yeast can easily be used, this amount is only if you like a stronger yeast flavour. We ate the buns, but this recipe is not to be repeated. There are better recipes out there, including some of the 40 minute ones.

Thank you for posting this one! My these buns turned out so awesome for me. I was making beans and thought it would be so nice to have fresh buns today. Seen as it was January 1st all stores were open and I got this idea to bake them myself. Most recipes all were for bread makers. This one was simple and yet turned out very nice.
