- 1 lb lean ground beef
- 1 cup water
- 1 (6 ounce) can mushrooms, sliced
- 2 teaspoons Worcestershire sauce
- 1 pint sour cream
- 1 (2 ounce) package Lipton Onion Soup Mix, only one
- 1 (1 7/8 ounce) package lipton mushroom soup mix
- 1⁄3 cup catsup
- 1 teaspoon black pepper
directions
- Cook ground beef and drain well.
- Add soup mixes, water, mushrooms, catsup, Worchestire sauce and pepper.
- Let simmer for 5 - 10 minutes.
- Just before serving, add 1 pint sour cream and heat; do not let it boil after adding the sour cream.
- Serve over hot-boiled egg noodles or rice.
