No wonder this has lasted 100 years, light, fluffy and so good. I did add a 1/2 teaspoon of cinnamon and 1 teaspoon of vanilla just for that added flavor. I was a little concerned over how thin the batter was but they puffed up so nice and light, served with real maple syrup and was enjoyed by all. Thanks so much for sharing.

Great pancakes! I worried a bit that the texture would be off because of the stiff egg whites, but they turned out perfect. I didn't add any of the optional seasonings.....simply wanted yummy, fluffy buttermilk pancakes, and these were great! Made for Zaar Cookbook tag game. Thanks for sharing!

100 years old and here to stay! These were delicious pancakes topped with strawberries and whipped cream. Definately a do again recipe!

Loved em'! Don't let the thinness of the batter concern you. The pancakes do not fluff up like a mix. My kids thought they had a slight egg taste but, didn't mind it at all. Everyone agreed though they were thin - they were VERY filling. Thanks for GGma's recipe.
