Wow! This worked so well, nice and creamy with little chunks of banana. Cut recipe in half and mix in food processor just until a ball formed and scooped into two bowls and topped with a few chopped walnuts. Am looking forward to making again and trying other flavors with it. Thanks so much for the post.

This is mind-blowing! This was great alone, but when I added some smooth peanut butter, it was perfection. I froze the slices for 1 hr and 45 min and upon blending, became the consistency of a soft serve or frozen yogurt. Letting it harden in the freezer after making would give it more of a regular ice cream texture. I'll have to experiment with other additions like cinnamon, cocoa, vanilla, fruit, etc. Needless to say, this recipe is much appreciated and a definite keeper!

Omg! This is amazing!! It's just like real ice cream. I was skeptical while blending it but I following the directions and kept scraping it off the sides and bottom of the food processor bowl until it became creamy. I don't know whether it'll freeze well but I've put some in the freezer and will update with my results tomorrow or the day after. Edited to add: I forgot to come back and update the review. Freezing the finished product did work but it was much harder than when freshly made.
