"This is the most awesome wheat bread I have ever eaten. It is worth the extra effort and because this recipe makes 4 loaves, you can freeze them and have enough for awhile :) Rising time included in prep."

"Make up a large batch of rustic artisanal bread dough, store it and then bake a loaf each day you need fresh bread, amazing but true! "This recipe was originally posted by a Zaar member who is no longer active. When she left, this recipe went "up for adoption." Enjoy!"

"A recipe from my college days, adapted from a friend. It's very quick and made with inexpensive ingredients that most people will have on hand. This will make a filling, nutritious, low-fat dinner for 2 people if served with a green salad. If you have leftovers, an easy way to save them is to mix the beans and rice together before refrigerating...."

"I had these at a local county fair and just had to try to make them. They are delicious. You can substitute your favorite dry pancake mix for the Bisquick. They are best when eaten warm. If you are want to try a lighter version, use lowfat milk, canola oil, and reduced fat Oreos."
