"There is nothing better then the smell of Southern biscuits baking in the kitchen. When they hit the table piping hot they are sure to disappear as quickly as they appeared. This recipe makes an excellent base for Strawberry Shortcake! Just increase the sugar to 2 Tablespoons (optional) and whip up some cream with a dash of vanilla extract and slice..."

"A recipe I found on www.Hy-Vee.com
I wanted to make oatmeal cookies with flax meal. You can grind your own flax meal or find it already grounded (such as Bob's Red Mill brand). I use a cookie-dough scooper (like an ice-cream scooper but alot smaller) instead of rolling the dough into 1" balls, alot faster and easier."

"This is great to make with the kids because it's so EASY. It's not the "best" cake in the world, but it's easy and no fuss. I usually gently fold in some sprinkles so that it's "confetti" cake and the kids think it's great fun!"

"Yummy whole grain pancakes in huge quantity. I make the whole batch on Saturday mornings and freeze the rest to used during the week. They thaw quickly in the microwave. My kids love these with smiling chocolate chip faces. Got this recipe from a magazine years ago. I make these for Easter brunch at church. They are requested each year."
