"I don't know if Tyler Florence would approve of the use of a bread machine to knead his pita bread recipe. I think it works wonderfully. Fresh pita bread is like a loaf of homemade bread. The flavor, texture and fragrance can't be compared with the store bought variety. I think this goes well with Paula Wolfert's Hummus which I also submitted..."

"I looooove ciabatta bread, especially when toasted and dipped in herbed olive oil. I was put off from making my own as it seemed pretty complicated and time-consuming-- but fear not for I have developed a wonderful ciabatta recipe that you can create in your bread machine! It's open for variations (it would be great with fresh or dried rosemary)..."

"This is another of our breakfast favorites with reasonable sugar and low fat. It was adapted from Elswet's mother's Tried and True's. We use Altern [Walmart Brand] sweetener and plain [non-instant and non-quick] oatmeal. I'm so sorry people seem to be having bad experiences with this recipe.
