"These have always been a hoilday favorite; any kind of holiday! I used to make these with Rum but have now switched to using Bourbon. I have had this recipe for eons and I don't know from whence it came. These can also be frozen &/or refrigerated.Have updated 12/12/2008: changed the amount of Bourbon balls to a count of 20 to 30."

"This is a peanut-free recipe I developed using
Easter Nests With Jelly Bean Eggs by winkki as a base. I had to make these peanut free for my DD's grade one class and this is what I came up with. They turned out great, and I'd like to thank Winkki for a terrific idea!
You can mix chocolate and white chips together if you want to make the full 2 cups.

"Cute little easter eggs with a hint of chocolate and peanut butter that kids (and adults) love. These eggs are so easy, since they are basically Rice Krispie Cake. These eggs can be individually wraped so they can be hidden with commercial wrapped chocolate easter eggs if you are doing an egg hunt for your kids."
