"A Chinese type of Chicken with Cashews recipe. I added less peanut oil when I was stir-frying as I thought six tablespoons was a bit to much. I used chicken liquid stock instead of water to give the recipe more flavour. I use bean sprout instead bamboo shoots (personal taste) however I think you could add any vegetables you wish without dramatically..."

"I used to make this constantly when I first learned to cook. It's a great little dish that takes no time or effort to prepare. I used to serve it with boiled rice or new potatoes and vegetables."

To get neat thin slices of beef I freeze the beef for 45 mins and then slice thinly, giving me the perfect cut. Together with your favourite raita, this makes a lovely meal. Recipe source is the 'Good Food' magazine November 05. Marinating time of at least 30..."

"This recipe is posted by request. I found it on www.khanakhazana.com. It was submitted by Madhavi from NJ, USA. This famous dish from Andhra region goes great with rice and sambar. Also a favorite companion on drink parties. To reduce heat in the recipe just substitute half of chili powder with shimla mirch powder."
