"You may reduce the amount of rhubarb and add in fresh strawberries if desired, try adding in different flavors of gelatin too! Plan ahead the fruit/sugar mixture needs to stand overnight before cooking, if you prefer a sweet jam use the 3 cups sugar... your going to love this jam!"

"I love rhubarb sauce but this recipe is so much better then the plain sauce I'm use to. I hijacked this recipe from Dreamer in Ontario. It is the filling from her Rhubarb Crisp Squares recipe. I just added more zest when I made it. I also made directions for cooking it using fresh rhubarb. It tasted so good that I just had to post it as a sauce recipe...."

"This is a simple and low calorie topping/compote, as told to me by someone in the MyFoodDiary.com forums. You can use it as a topping/mixin for plain yogurt, top ice cream with it, put it over toast (with cream cheese?), stir it into oatmeal, eat it with a dab of whipped topping or just plain. Sweet and tart yummy treat."

"We enjoyed this over low-fat vanilla ice cream -- an interesting and different way to use the mint I have growing all over the place. Recipe source: local newspaper which states this was adapted from Bon Appetit (May, 2008)"

"This recipe is changed from Bernardin's Rhubarb Concentrate, I changed it a bit to add raspberries for part of the Rhubarb originally called for.
Times are estimates. Directions assume you know how to can."
