"This stick-to-your-ribs chili recipe has a sweetness to it that offsets the hot-but-not-too-hot burn that follows. I started with my step mom's recipe and made it my own. The amounts below are really "guesstimates" which makes it a little different every time!"

"The chorizo gives this a very good flavor. Spice it with whatever you like. I used a habanero spice mix called "Hotter than Hell". But this doesn't have to be hot if you like it mild. Just season with whatever you are comfortable with."

"Spicy meatloaf full of heat, cheese, beans, olives, cilantro and yumminess! Serve on a bed of shredded lettuce topped with cheese, sour cream, olives and salsa. Oh and a sprinkle of fresh cilantro or fresh parsley."
