"This is the first time I used a cedar plank for cooking fish -- and this is the best way to grill salmon as far as we're concerned (also lower fat too) - the salmon came out so moist and spiced just right -- the fish doesn't taste spicy at all. Posted for World Tour - USA - Northwest region. Recipe source: local newspaper"

"This is an easy fish recipe with light, bright flavors. You can use any mild flavored, firm, white fish; but halibut is my favorite with this. Watch the fish carefully as it cooks, if you overcook it, it will be rubbery. Make sure that the tomato you choose is fully ripe- this will not come out tasting right with under ripe tomatoes."

"Halibut is probably my favorite fish and the steaks hold up to grilling well and are a fast meal anytime. This recipe is a combination of lots of recipe browsing and mostly what makes my family happy- that is the real goal now, isn't it? Prep time includes marinade time."

"This is a good one for those of us who love lime, since that is the predominant flavor here. Use cod, flounder, or any firm white fish for this. I used Tilapia, and in place of the dried onion I used fresh. I served it with Mexican Tomato Rice and Beans. From Taste of Home's Quick Cooking (September/October 1999)."
