"A Chinese type of Chicken with Cashews recipe. I added less peanut oil when I was stir-frying as I thought six tablespoons was a bit to much. I used chicken liquid stock instead of water to give the recipe more flavour. I use bean sprout instead bamboo shoots (personal taste) however I think you could add any vegetables you wish without dramatically..."

"Preparation time does include marinade time, just to allow the marinade to soak into the beef. To get neat thin slices of beef I freeze the beef for 45 mins and then slice thinly, giving me the perfect cut. I don't eat red meat but Hubby and Little Miss (DD) love beef and they enjoyed this quick recipe. Original recipe comes from Annette Sym's..."

"This batter can be used for fish, prawn or vegetables e.g. onion rings, eggplant, cauliflower, broccoli, sweet potatoes, green beans, asparagus spears or whatever else you desire. Its not as light as some and much easier to coat your ingredient. I serve over a bed of fried egg noodles and garnish with a red chili."
