"Sweet and sour flavored sauce with chicken pieces and oriental vegetables. Nice for us soccer moms on those nights when everyone is going different directions at different times. Once cooked, you can hold on lowest setting and each family member can dish up whenever they're ready to eat."

"This curry is devilishly hot, with a slight sweet and sour flavor. This dish also tastes best when made the day before. It's a great curry if served immediately, but the flavor really deepens after 24 hours in the fridge. Prep time includes marinating time and time spent soaking the dried chili peppers."

"Taken from hawaiinewsnow.com. Time to marinate IS NOT included in prep/cook time. Posted for ZWT. ETA: I have now made this chicken, tho I used boneless skinless breasts, as it is what I had on hand. The Cap'n Crunch cereal makes a tasty breading, and the marinade imparts a nice underlying flavor."

"This is a recipe from the Luau restaurant in Memphis TN from the 60's&70's. The Luau was a polynesian restraunt with a tropical themed decor. Think Mai Tai's and cheesy Hawaiian boxed in music. But to us Memphians and the yearly prom goers, it was an escape! Anyway this dish is easy and so soul satisfying."

"A recipe I found on Hawaiinrecipes.org while searching for recipes in the Pacific Islands for ZWT Event. This describes 2 ways to cook, in the oven or on the BBQ. It doesn't add vegetables, but feel free to add vegetables of choice if making it into kabobs. Prep time doesn't include the time for marinating and cook time is for the BBQ."
