"If you don't have (or want to use) parsnips, feel free to substitute turnips or carrots. A great way to ensure tender and moist chops is to soak them in a brine of 1 cup milk to 1/2 Tbs salt for at least 1 hour before using in a recipe."

"This is a light, refreshing salad. Perfect for lunch or to start off a meal. This is a scaled down version of the salad that will be served at our daughter's wedding. The caterer was generous enough to provide us with the recipe. Note: Cooking time is chilling time for the dressing."

I started with a pear and sweet potato soup recipe and improvised from there. Please let me know your alterations and suggestions. I hope you enjoy this recipe!"

"This is low in fat with no additional dressing keeping the fat down even more.
Arugula has a peppery taste that goes nicely with the creamy cheese and crunchy pears while the mushrooms give it a meaty feel. For added texture add some toasted nuts."
