"Classic French apple tart. I make this every fall during apple season, usually end up with the recipe memorized as I'm churning out my 14th, or 15th, tarte by the end of the year. Use tart Granny Smiths for best results. Use store-bought puff pastry to make it super easy! I found this method by trial and error to bypass making caramel first.

"I've been making this for family tea for years and years. I think the basis of the recipe came from the back of a supermarket leaflet but I have tweaked it and all I can say about it is when I make one, there's never leftovers!"

"Jam tarts are a quintessential British teatime treat - little crispy short crust pastry rounds filled with assorted fruit jams, such as strawberry, raspberry, apricot, blackcurrant and lemon curd. "This blueberry tart is so simple to make yet packs a great taste. Everyone always loves this and it is a great way to use blueberries. This recipe comes from the "I Can't Believe It's Kosher" cookbook. Note: Tart may also be made in a 10-inch pie plate or a 10-inch quiche dish. A little extra care is needed to get the first piece..."

"These are perfect to serve at a get together, this recipe makes a ton of tarts (about 50 mini tarts) but the recipe can be cut in half if desired. The original recipe states to prepare the lemon mixture on top of the stove, but this tends to scorch easily so the second time I made it, it worked out better in the microwave, but you can definitely prepare..."

"These little treats I created are definitely for Lemon Lovers! This is easy to make and can be put together in a pinch. Great for pot lucks, reunions, weddings, cookouts, or luncheons. Serve as is or with lemon sherbert garnished with whipped cream and a mint leaf. NOTE: Due to previous reviews, on 8/18/08 we edited the ingredient amounts. I also used..."
