"This is fantastic and easy. It is an elegant veggie, but if you are doing WW, this is 1-point for 1-cup according to the Weight Watchers Cookbook. Yum! You may also toss the broccoli with a tad of Parmesan cheese or a little minced garlic. If you want a quick alternative, use frozen broccoli spears (see note below)."

"I hesitate to post this, because it is just so simple.....but just in case no one has done this, here it is! If pressed for time you can use cole slaw mix, but it isn't as fresh as cutting your own, and with such a simple recipe freshness is best."

"This one has been in our family for as long as I can remember. A long time ago my grandma used to use fresh corn, but as the family got BIG and there were a lot of mouths to feed (more to make too) she went to can corn just to make it faster. I cut the recipe in half."
