"This is one of my absolute favorites. You can have the cherries macerating all afternoon, and whip up the finished product while you do the dinner dishes for a special evening dessert. My Belgian husband had never eaten a cobbler before this one, now he can't get enough . . ."

"This is one of my family's favorite coffeecakes. The original recipe called for 3/4 cup evaporate milk with 1 Tbls. lemon juice in it and it was very good. "I'm not sure where I originally got this recipe but I just recently tried it myself. Since the batter is more like a dough, I found it incredibly hard to layer in the muffin tins as described. Next time I'm going to use my springform pan and make a layered coffeecake instead and bake it for about 50 minutes."
