"This recipe from Ottawa TV chef Pam Collacott was a big hit at my house this past Christmas morning. It is so good, I wouldn't save it just for Christmas! I made it up the same day but you can prepare it up to the point where it goes into the oven and freeze it until you need it. Just add an extra 20 to 25 minutes to the baking time."

Can replace swiss cheese with another cheese (I like cheddar also) and could use bacon or sausage for the the ham. In first step, melt butter, could add in minced..."

"This originally came from Better Homes & Gardens. These little guys were scarfed up in no time at a party I made them for. Everyone raved about them! I personally couldn't keep away from them and ate quite a few! :) The filling can also be mixed by hand if you don't have an electric mixer and don't mind a few small lumps."
