English Muffin Toasting Bread (Easy!) #347776

    by Brandess

    posted on January 07, 2009

If yeast scares you, try this recipe! You will love how quick this bread is to make. In my opinion, anything that tastes this wonderful should be more work, but I am pleasantly pleased that it's not! It makes the best toast I have ever had, but it also is great un-toasted for sandwiches or snacking. From King Arthur Flour: This yeasty, coarse-textured bread makes the best toast ever, a perfect partner to fresh summer jam or preserves. A purely mix-it-slap-in-the-pan-bake-and-eat-it loaf, it's earned a place of honor in our King Arthur test kitchen Hall of Fame.
