Love this pie. Tip for pie not getting done. To avoid soggy bottom pies should always be baked on the bottom rack. Should also help with the filling not setting. Have made this pie for years. Know it says to not mess with BUT I do double the filling to make for a prettier presentation, bake til it doesn't jiggle. Dust with powdered sugar sifted over a paper doily. Cut into smaller pieces as it is rich.
I accidently left it on high over night for about 11 hours. Do you think it will still be infe?
