Posting this for ZWT 2006, this is a typical South African Curry. For those who dislike Coconut Milk in curries try this one; it is coconut milk free. This is served over rice or with a bread such as Chapatis.

    Recipe #173190

When trying a new recipe, making up a whole batch of muffins & then not really caring for the flavor or texture or both is pretty annoying. Here's a little quickie I picked up that only makes 4 muffins; healthy ones to boot. Almost like a try before you buy deal.

    Recipe #169634

If you are a thin crust lover, then this is not for you, this recipe produces a thick, tender delicious crust. This is wonderful just brushed with olive oil then sprinkled with some kosher salt, garlic powder and the bit of shredded mozzeralla cheese on top and served warm just out of the oven with a plate of pasta, sooooo good! This recipe can be made either by hand or on your heavy-duty stand mixer, since there is a fair amount of dough to work with I stronly suggest to make this your stand mixer. For quicker rising use 1 tablespoon dry yeast.

Chef Kate - spring onions, Susie D - shrimp, Lauralie41 - prepared crust and sauce katia - kalamata olives, evelyn/athens - feta, twissis - mushrooms, tigerduck - arugula and chili oil, stormylee - mozzarella, chefwally - red pepper flakes and fresh basil

Got this low fat recipe from on line and tweaked!

    Recipe #118107

This silky and rich version of the dish that Southerners eat for breakfast, lunch or dinner easily lives up to Chef Jan Birnbaum's colorful name for it. This is a perfect side dish for Catfish with Pecan Brown Butter

    Recipe #133161

Tasty beef roast for those busy days.

    Recipe #133281

Here in Yorkshire you can't have a Sunday roast or Christmas dinner without Yorkshire Puddings. This recipe was adapted from one featured on Gordon Ramsey's F-Word television program. If you have any leftover, try eating them with golden syrup, they are just as good sweet. If you can't find dripping you can use lard or vegetable oil. They work best in a Yorkshire pudding tray, with indivdual molds, but you van use a deep oven tray approx. 8x10 and make one large pudding, that you can cut into individual portions. Preparation time includes time for the batter to rest.

This should keep for 2 weeks in the refrigerator. From Cooking Light.

    Recipe #150159

The secret to this coffee is the earthy taste of chicory. A dark roast works best and if you mix the chicory in yourself you can vary the proportions to suit your tastes (20-40% chicory for most people). I recommend 25% chicory. The proportion of milk to coffee can also be varied to suit your taste. If you can't find chicory or coffee premixed with chicory in your area, both are available online at orleanscoffee.com/ and premixed is also available at cafedumonde.com/ or neworleanscoffeeworks.com/ or frenchmarketcoffee.com

    Recipe #151134

Chewy, yeasty, yummy and fast! Instructions included for whole wheat dough and freezing for a make ahead meal too! Cooking time does not reflect time for toppings!

This bread taste so good and so easy to make. You let your Kitchen Aide do all the work. The crust is nice and crispy and the inside is perfect. You can make loaves of bread or dinner rolls. Hope you enjoy.

    Recipe #157517

Don't let the list of ingredients keep you from trying this recipe. It's actually pretty quick to throw together, and fairly simple. This recipe can easily be doubled and baked in a 9x13 pan if you need 12-16 servings, which is what I usually do. You can serve it with a scoop of ice cream or sorbet if you'd like.

    Recipe #166056

This is Rachael Ray's recipe and pretty much the salad I grew up on coming from an Italian family. The portions can be increased for larger groups. I love this simple and healthy salad. It is a perfect salad to serve with Italian food!

    Recipe #166868

Delicious plain pikelets with a cinnamon applesauce. The sauce is a bit different because of the slicing of the apples. One or two pikelets makes a very nice dessert with a spoonful of vanilla ice cream! If using non hydrogenated margarine for the pancakes and sauce, such as Becel, use a little less because of the higher moisture content. Recipe altered from Apple & Pear Australia Ltd.

    Recipe #170354

Simple and delicious salmon with an asian flair. Works on the grill, too. Prep time is marinating time.

    Recipe #173520

Delish! Especially good with beef. Can be made in oven or microwave! If you can't find the small new potatoes, use red potatoes and cut into wedges or thick slices.

    Recipe #170056

This is a delicious pizza that's a combination of a pesto pizza and antipasto salad!!! Created by the Pantry Raiding Divas for the Zaar World Tour II! NOTE: If you'd rather use fresh red bell peppers, slice 1/2 red bell pepper into rings and saute with the mushrooms. NOTE: Purchased pesto may be used, if desired.
