A cold rice salad that is an excellent companion dish in the summer. It is also a convenient make ahead dish to stream line meal prep for large gatherings. Feel free to play with the herbs used in the salad. Just remember that the herb that is added while the rice is still hot will be the dominant flavor.
This is the tastiest soup I have ever eaten in my life. iTs really sophisticated and unusual. I got the recipe from The BestSoups cookbook. Honestly its delicious, but dont be tempted to increase the curry paste as it spoils the delicate flavour.
I love this rice, I discovered the perfect way to cook Basmati rice in Vegetable Heaven and the spices to make it fragrant were from The Great Curries of India. This goes perfect with any indian meal and easily multiplies. I put four servings as in 4 side dish servings.
This was originally from another recipe , but I made so many variations that I decided it was mine!
Now instead of a pasta sauce this is a lovely fresh and easy dip. All ingredients should be room temperature , but chill just for a bit then stir before serving.
I went to the Botanical gardens yesterday and decided to bring a packed lunch. All I had was leftovers, but what they resulted in was THIS! (Of course, I'll probably never make it again because I'll never have the same ingredients. Oh well)
When your low on points for the week or if you want something that will fill you up that won't count against your points, indulge yourself in this YUMMY soup..
BTW- my 3. 5, and 7 year old LOVED this soup with some oyster crackers.. Family Pleaser!
This is a quick and easy recipe for carrot cake. Mix in the ingredients with a wooden spoon, or fork; there is no need to take out the electric mixer for this recipe. The result: a tasty and moist cake.
An exciting combination of "Sweet n Heat" in a dipping sauce for finger food.
The flavor of the orange & ginger really come through before the heat comes to the party.
Grilled or fried wings tossed in this sauce is great.
