I keep a private cookbook for tagged recipes, but I thought it would be nice to collect the recipes I've selected for things like Pick-A-Chef and My 3 Chefs along with recipes I've invented or reviewed for Ready, Set, Cook into a public cookbook too. I find some of the best recipes that way.

This is a whole-egg mayonnaise with fresh garden flavors and a hint of mozzarella. It's good on sandwiches or salads, and excellent with tuna. If made according to instructions, this should be a fairly thick mayonnaise. Make sure to drain the pimientos well, and add the oil very slowly. Please don't add any additional eggs, or this won't emulsify correctly.

A deliciously spiced coffee which enhances the coffee drinking experience, and is therefore particularly welcome when you're aiming to reduce the calories in your daily diet. Because it has no milk, it has NO fat and, at 17 calories, it is super-low in calories. Compare that with a creamy cappuccino! Adapted from Australian chef flip shelton's 'green: modern vegetarian recipes', and posted for the post-ZWT Healthy for the Holidays Challenge! When I make this next time, I'm going to try it without the fennel seeds and with a tablespoon of orange juice.

    Recipe #145671

A spicy coffee drink. I got this from a friend in Texas who swears by it.

    Recipe #273112

From a Maxwell House pamphlet. This is so scrumptious. My coffee pot does not have a decanter/glass pot so I make this a bit different than how they stated. I've included both ways in case your coffee pot has an internal system instead of using a decanter.

Warm up anytime with this delightful drink featuring an alluring blend of brown sugar, zesty cinnamon and evaporated milk.

    Recipe #234341

I love coffee and chocolate, but not with too much sugar. I created this for myself after I read that cinnamon helps prevent or retard diabetes and is good for people who already have it (it runs in my family). I was really surprised at how yummy it tastes and doesn't need any creamer or sweetener, but you can certainly add splenda as I do sometimes.
