found this page of a mag whilst sorting out my recipes and figures since its near xmas people could do with some low points seafood recipes. this was from a weight watchers magazine Irrestiable in feb 2007
Yummy low points dessert. Very simple. 1 cup is 3 pts. I usually drain fruit juices into pudding mix first and then blend fruit in, it is just easier for me. You may also want to try this with SF FF Banana Cream Pudding.
I am an idiot. Last year I GLUED all my weight watchers recipes out of weight watchers magazines into an exercise book. Come this year when I am given not one but two recipe folders to hold snippets out of magazine I have to try and unglue them. The result is not successful. So I am putting them on recipezaar to print them out to organise them. I’m not sure what issue they are from but this is definitely from weight watchers magazine.
WW Recipe-Cut the Fat Cookbook 1996.
Accented with garlic and fresh basil, this quick pasta dish is delicious.
I have not tried this yet, but it sure sounds like a meal that the whole family will enjoy.
Preparation time is approximate since I have not made this dish yet.
Healthy diet chicken with vegetables combines the ease of frozen chicken breasts with the nutritional benefits of fresh vegetables. What I like about this easy recipe is that little differences in my choice of seasonings can create a variety of tastes without compromising on my basic diet requirements. The basic recipe calls for basil, but you can easily substitute lite soy sauce and some sliced water chestnuts for a Chinese flavor. Can be served on rice or noodles but is great as is.
This recipe is 4 pts. Please remember to not go off of stats on recipezaar because you have to choose the right ingredients to make it. Here is a break down...
Pita- 1 pt : Salad pita pocket
Pepperoni- 1 pt : 5 slices (if you want less pts, use turkey, I didn't. I don't like it.)
Cheese- 1 pt : fat free mozerella
Sauce- Ragu has the least amt of calories and fat that I have found
use whatever vegetable toppings you want. I listed what I used below.
When you add everything up and put it into ww calculations it comes up with 4 pts. (I guess everything else gets you one more pt.)
