I love this salad. It makes a meal just by itself. Prep time includes marinating time.

Recipe #44435

From a popular restaurant on Lake Minnetonka, here in the Twin Cities

Recipe #186633

What a great way to use left over steak. We love using tri-tip grilled medium rare for this perfect summer meal.

Recipe #173853

It's easy to eat well with a flavorful recipe your family will love.

Recipe #168039

Just made up this recipe today to use up some ambelofasoula (I've never seen this bean in Canada and don't know if it has an English name). All kinds of green beans would be good in this refreshing salad, I expect. Steaming time is approximate as everyone likes their beans softer/crispier. 8 minutes is what worked for us.

Recipe #69816

This is from Desperation Dinners! and is ready to eat in no time!

Recipe #172295

Adapted from Woman's Day magazine. I changed all of the ingredients to lower fat versions, but the original called for the full fat stuff, so by all means use whichever you prefer. Good way to use up a little leftover corn and chicken. If you prefer to not buy pre-bagged salad, just add a little shredded red cabbage, carrots, and sliced radishes to your favorite salad greens. You may also sub any type of cooked beans you prefer - chickpeas, kidney beans, black-eyed peas, etc. Shredded leftover pork or turkey would also be nice in this.

Love this pasta salad with the steak medium rare, Mmmm Nummy! Nice thin, tender slices!

Recipe #24580

Spicy and Colorful. Wonderful cold or warm and wilted. I prefer the soft, creamy texture of the boiled potatoes, however, roasting them for a bit of crunch would be fabulous, I'm certain. This is great with baked fish or you can even stir in some store-bought rotisserie chicken for a quick, complete meal.

Recipe #162653

Inspired by another macaroni salad and some nudging from my sister, this is what I came up with. :)* The cook time on this is boiling the macaroni and frying up the bacon, which I did simultaneously ;)

This is a lovely way to "Dress-Up" ground beef!

Recipe #177433

Plan ahead this salad needs to chill for a minimum of 3 hours, it can easily be doubled --- this is very good!

Recipe #177142

I have made this many times over the years for large gatherings, everyone loves it and I am always asked for the recipe --- the dressing is wonderful with potatoes or cooked pasta, you may of coarse double the amounts to feed more people --- all ingredients may be adjusted to suit taste, throw in some cooked ham or bacon if desired, plan ahead this salad must chill for at least 3 or more hours before serving, the longer chilling time the better! --- if making the potato salad and prefer a creamier salad then double the dressing amount

Great summertime salad.

Recipe #175212

This recipe is a combination of two other recipes with my own ideas incorportated into it to make it a salad that is also a meal in itself. Be sure to refrigerate overnight and serve it cold.

Recipe #19972

I threw this together with some left over chicken. It is an easy fix on a warm day!

Recipe #170275

A nice salad for lunch or a light dinner. From Joyce's Fine Cooking.

Recipe #170166

This salad is the perfect choice for a family gathering or pot luck. A pasta salad with ham, fresh grapes, cheese, and a creamy dill dressing. There isn't any reason you couldn't add other favorite salad ingredients...small grape tomatoes, bell peppers, red onion, etc. Or...How about cubed grilled chicken and pineapple tibbits? The variations are endless...so please leave your suggestions...I love salads and variety.

Recipe #170078

I made this the other day for a get-together of old friends. It got rave reviews from them, so I thought I'd post it here for others to enjoy. That, and so I don't forget what I did. :D If desired, you could serve it wrapped in a flour tortilla. Chopping the roast is much easier when using the pulse setting on a food-processor. The Mexican Dressing amounts are approximate...increase or decrease the salsa to taste.
