I found this in a Cooking Light slow cooker book at Barnes and Nobles $1.99 table. I am always on the look out for easy recipes I can do at the firehouse to feed hungry guys for a reasonable price. I put this on in the morning and by 6 pm I add a salad to the meal. Done! The guys at work loved it.

    Recipe #281701

OK, this is not a chicken you just dump into a crock pot with seasoning and expect to have a gourmet meal after 8 hours - this crock pot chicken is a labor of love and requires just a little bit of time. Believe me, you will be glad you took it.

This is almost too easy to be called a recipe, but I had to share it anyway. I came up with it one night when I wanted a nice meal but wasn't feeling too motivated. I love Crock-Pot cooking!

    Recipe #95569

The chicken is so tender and breaks up really nicely -it reminds me of a good chicken stew. From Company's Coming Slow Cooker Recipes.

Quick and easy to prepare, and so tasty! I have it cooking right now, and the smell is making me wish it was dinner time already! It goes great with Recipe #14895 (as shown in pic)!

The easiest Chicken Cacciatore yet! Throw it in the Crock-Pot and run all day to come home to the savory smells coming from your kitchen. Spice it up to your liking.

    Recipe #41685

This pork comes out tender and delicious, and the sauce has a great combo of sweet and spicy flavors. This is great with fried rice or just plain white rice. (I used a 5 quart crock pot for this recipe) Enjoy!

    Recipe #348358

This is such an easy recipe that the whole family will love! I usually have all the ingredients on hand. The seasoning in the Stove Top cooks right into the chicken and your home will smell amazing! My 2 year old and picky husband leave their plates clean every time I make this dish!

This is my basic filling for chicken pot pie, with a little twist. It's done in the crock pot and spooned over fresh hot biscuits. I use the canned variety on weeknights, but use your favorite recipe.

The house smells wonderful while this is cooking!

OUT OF THIS WORLD! Tender and delicious! Flavor Galore! This is one of my favorite dishes. I have found that bone-in chicken gives more flavor. I use the following method for fall-off-the-bone chicken. After placing the lid on crock pot place a large double folded kitchen towel over top of lid letting it fall over sides of crock pot. This allows no steam to escape. The sauce in this dish makes good 'gravy' over cooked rice. Makes a pretty dish to serve guests.

    Recipe #346249

Wonderful creamy chicken without heating up the kitchen. Great to come home to.

I got this recipe from a nurse at work. We're always sharing easy and family-pleasing recipes. The sauce tastes like a creamy Alfredo sauce. This is great with noodles.

Great to have on-hand for recipes. Just Place as many chicken breasts as you can fit into your crock pot as long as the lid fits on properly. I use bone-in, skin-on but I'm sure boneless, skinless would work too.

Works great for those that have a busy schedule and sometimes don't have time to make dinner.

    Recipe #226923

This method creates a very moist flavorful turkey breast, the low slow cooking will create juice if you want more juice just add in a can of low-sodium chicken broth undiluted although you really don't need to --- do not add in any extra salt the onion soup mix is salty enough --- for best flavor I recommend not to use previously frozen then thawed turkey breast, use fresh if possible, since every crock pot cooks differently the cooking time is only estimated, a bone-in breast will need slightly longer to cook --- see my recipe#145064

    Recipe #188444

I found this recipe on southernfood.about.com and am posting it here for safekeeping.

    Recipe #357464

This is a nice chicken dish to fix when a busy day awaits you. Everything can be combined the night before and placed in the fridge for cooking the next day. This dish is wonderful served over pasta, egg noodles or rice; with plenty of sauce for everyone.
