Weight Watchers Recipes - Flex Program

A collection of recipes that are from weight watchers cook books or have point values. (Please note that I have not verified the stated values so a quick check on your points slider would be good.) Have also begun to add a few that would be point friendly. Wheat is good for you! From the "Family Circle Great Ground Beef Cookbook."

    Recipe #159782

Delightful fare that will have you reaching for a hunk of crusty bread. The original recipe is from the British magazine Good Food and modified here to my personal tastes. I love the way the ingredients layer creating a dish with depth and yet simple to prepare and easy enough for a busy evening, Made as presented, this is 8 points per serving as per the WW Recipe Builder with generous portions. You may also serve three smaller servings for 5 points each.

    Recipe #376647

My adaptation of a Weight Watchers recipe. The 30 minutes preparation time represents the time needed to press the tofu before cook, as the actual effort involved is minimal. Generous portions and big flavors for just 6 points.

    Recipe #364561

This is a Cooking Light recipe with some minor modifications based on my personal tastes. You can make the gratin in advance and heat it before serving making it suitable for holidays or special occasions.

    Recipe #363720

From Weight Watchers All-Time Favorites which I borrowed from my friend's daughter, Alex. Don't want to lose this. You can marinate this too. 6 points per serving.

    Recipe #340707

I threw this together for the hubby this morning....

    Recipe #331774

From Hungry Girl: " I'll Melt With You! Everywhere we turn these days, we see print ads and commercials for Taco Bell's Cheesy Beefy Melt. And quite frankly, we were starting to get weak. So we headed on over to The Bell, picked up one of those Melts, scrutinized its cheesy innards, and got busy in the kitchen. The result is this fantabulous swap. Check it out!" Serving Size: 1 Cheesy Beefy Supreme Wrap (entire recipe) Calories: 267 Fat: 6g Sodium: 1,460mg Carbs: 30g Fiber: 16g Sugars: 2g Protein: 38g POINTS® value 5*

Yeah! My new Weight Watchers Magazine just arrived!! This one is listed as the Recipe Makeover for this issue...

    Recipe #331792

From Hungry Girl: "Flat 'n Fabulous Admit it -- you find yourself singing that hip-hop jingle for the latest greasefest to come from Carl's Jr. and Hardee's: "Flat buns... I like flat buns..." (it's catchy!). And since grilled onions, a beefy burger, and melted cheese on toasty rye bread (yeah, that's what a "flat bun" is in this case) sounds delicious, we decided to HG-ify it. We're pleased to present HG's Flat Top Patty Melt."

Two other recipes that go along with this one are Recipe #332120 and Recipe #332015, each posted separately. FOOD NOTE: Want to skip the Madeira in the gravy while retaining the great flavor? Not a problem. Just substitute 1/4 cup unsweetened apple juice or reduced-sodium chicken broth in step 2 (the POINTS value will remain the same).

    Recipe #332120

From Hungry Girl: "The Great Pumpkin! We're year-round pumpkin freaks, but fall is when all the "normal" people celebrate the fat orange squash. Check out this recipe. It's SO great! HG Heads Up! You'll need a springform pie pan for this recipe. You can usually find 'em cheapie-cheap at any supermarket. Recipe #332336

Another take on the Weight Watchers zero points vegetable soup. This spicy soup definately doesn't taste like it is zero points! Adapted from the Weight Watchers UK webstie.

    Recipe #332467

I was eager to find a new zero points recipe for Weight Watchers. Although I love the original zero points vegetable soup they can become repetitive when eaten all winter! I love the chop suey taste this soup has! Adapted from the Weight Watchers UK website.

    Recipe #332539

From a Hungry Girl email: "The Apple of Our Eye Attention, Fiber One skeptics! We DARE you to try this recipe and not love it. Okay, if you're absolutely opposed to using F1 for baking, leave it out and double the graham cracker amount instead (each serving will then have 141 calories, 1g fat, 2.25g fiber and a POINTS® value of 2*). BTW, try spooning some of this stuff on top of light vanilla ice cream or yogurt... IT ROCKS!!!"
