This is always a HIT with guests. I make this everytime we have a get together and the bowl is always left empty!!

    Recipe #10733

My son is a "graduated chef" from college, and requested that he "cook" for his family on a visit home last fall. I expect that to show the "Old Duffer" that there are in fact, ways to "do the impossible" and grill broccoli and cauliflower, he ran up these "kebabs" for us, and trust me, they were sensational! "Good" restaurant grade, you might want to season with "Chinese 5 Spice Mix"...

    Recipe #206611

The variety of vegetables makes a pretty platter.

This is my kids' favorite vegetable side dish. I'm almost embarrassed to post it, but they asked me to...My kids have a fetish for Velveeta, and to them, adding it to broccoli makes that vegetable devine! LOL!

Is a great potluck or buffet dish.

    Recipe #144414

This is GOOD! A nice LOW FAT salad that will help you get those veggies into your diet! This is NOT an overly sweet salad, but the raisins and sweet red bell pepper help to balance the tart vinegar. This is a favorite of mine and I hope you enjoy it too! This comes from the Sun-Maid Raisin folks!

    Recipe #112938

This delicious grilled side dish will add nutrition and flavor to any meal. Recipe is from Light and Tasty’s April/May 2005 issue. I love broccoli anyway, and grilling veggies always kicks them up a notch.

    Recipe #125127

There are many versions of this salad but this is my favorite. From Southern Living magazine. Chill time is 2 hours.

    Recipe #51032

A lighter version of the original, great for holidays!

    Recipe #498290

    Delicious, low-fat salad.

    Recipe #36950

This is one of those recipes where you look at it and say, you know I think I'll add this or maybe I'll skip that and you still have a great tasting salad.

Fresh green broccoli with Parmesan cheese is a treat you will not soon forget. I know it is simple but sometimes we have to be reminded of the simple recipes

After monkeying around with several broccoli salad recipes, I finally came up with a winner that I love, and my guests do too. This is excellent on a buffet table and always goes quickly.

    Recipe #14005

The dish is a nice and easy change from the norm, and quite different from some of the other broccoli recipes I have seen here. Try it, you might like it as much as we do! Due to a great suggestion from a reviewer, I have added toasting the sesame seeds, a marvelous idea! Also, PLEASE don't substitute the sesame oil as one review did here, you loose the entire flavor of this great dish! This is an adopted recipe and the above comments were made before I inherited it. Now having made this dish, I can concurr: it's a sesame oil that turns your head and gets your taste buds going in this recipe, and toasting the seeds also adds fuller flavour. I'm delighted to have adopted this recipe and will be making it often:) I hope that you will enjoy it too!

    Recipe #139885

My sister-in-law served this at a family function and it's been a hit ever since. No Cheese Whiz, just real cheddar cheese. Delicious, and kid-friendly. My now-grown son would request this when he came home from college. This recipe is very adaptable as well - add crushed Ritz crackers or panko crumbs on top during the last 5 minutes of cooking for a crunchy topping. Add bacon bits to the mixture for some extra flavor, or add a couple teaspoons of hot sauce for some heat. I also have used brown rice successfully with this recipe, and frozen broccoli cuts instead of chopped.

    Recipe #105080

You may want to make a double batch of this salad. There won't be any left!!

    Recipe #10481

This is a yummy recipe that my mom got off the back of a Miracle Whip jar years ago. :)

    Recipe #232459

This can be made a variety of ways. You can omit the bow tie pasta and just have the veggies and or add/delete as desired. I think I like it so well because it's somewhat sweet. Feel free to improvise as needed for taste.
