Quick, easy and delicious side dish. I found this in Southern Living, November 2005. My family loves this one!

    Recipe #156672

The key here is to not overpower the natural taste of the mushrooms. I'm not entirely sure if I have the amount of ingredients right. I usually start with some and add more til it tastes the way I like it.

    Recipe #159838

My kids learned to love steamed broccoli at a very early age and asked for it often. They thought the broccoli florets looked like little trees which they enjoyed accompanied by yummy cheese sauce. "Trees and cheese" is what they fondly called this favorite!

    Recipe #159799

    Recipe #50961

A twist on cheese sauce for cauliflower. Nice tangy taste of feta and richness of eggs. NOTE: I re-wrote the instructions more clearly. There is NO hot sauce in this, as mentioned by one reviewer. It called for whisking 1/2 cup OF THE HOT CHEESE sauce, NOT 1/2 cup hot sauce. :)

Yummy stuffed green peppers with extra rice stuffing on the side. Great simple dish that is easy to make, and easy to freeze. For meat & cheese lovers you can easily double the ground beef and cheddar.

I saw this being prepared and it looked so good that I had to post it. By Chef David Burke.

    Recipe #158787

A quick and easy side dish or appetizer, and an alternative to fried eggplant strips. Could easily be made into a "parmigiana" verison with a bit of sauce and some good mozzarella cheese.

Great way to use up that delicious fresh corn.

    Recipe #34538

This is an old recipe that I found in my late MIL's recipe box. Some of the recipes were newspaper clippings that were so yellowed from time I could hardly read them Fortunately, this one I could! Try it!

    Recipe #156113

My family loves broccoli, but it seems most of my recipes call for cheese or a heavy sauce. I threw this together last night for a lighter dish that is still full of flavor. If you have fresh broccoli in a microwave safe bag, it makes this dish even quicker! A 12 oz. bag of broccoli microwaves in just 4 minutes.

This is my kids' favorite vegetable side dish. I'm almost embarrassed to post it, but they asked me to...My kids have a fetish for Velveeta, and to them, adding it to broccoli makes that vegetable devine! LOL!

    Recipe #131653

A childhood favorite. Okay, we loved broccoli any way you served it, but this was a lot of fun. You can, of course, serve the "snow" with other veggies, but then it wouldn't be snow, would it? Because snow goes on trees. It's not quite as nummy with raw trees, but still pretty good, so that one's up to you. The broccoli-cooking method works well with most veggies (just adjust acidity and sweetness to taste). You may want to add a pat or two of butter if you're not using snow with it. When I say "mayonnaise", I mean Best Foods/Hellman's. Use another brand at your own risk. I am not responsible for any resulting implosion of the universe if you use Miracle Whip.
