These are best served the moment they come out of the fryer. From Southern Living.

Recipe #51736

A friend of mine surprised us with this for dinner one night. She just delivered it to our door. I knew I had to have the recipe. It's such a different entree. Vegetarian and yet SO hardy! The instructions are long, but the process isn't. Don't let the length of the recipe scare you out of a delightful and interesting meal! Be sure to use your food processor to save some time!

A fabulous white pizza... again, four cheeses are used (grated parmesan, provolone, ricotta, & mozzarella) as well as fresh broccoli florets. You could substitute with spinach if you like, but we LOVE this recipe as is... I buy the pre-made pizza dough from my grocery store to save time, but you could always make your own of course. Also, I use MILD provolone - it's pre-packaged & pre-sliced think it is Belgioioso brand. Note: I use the 12 oz. bag of "Broccoli Wokly" which is already cut into florets - I steam it according to the package directions first in the bag & use the full bag on the pizza.

My BF said this was the best rice he had ever eaten. I adapted this recipe from a Sunset Mexican Cookbook. This recipe can easily be cut in half.

Recipe #212380

This is my mother's recipe, she always used to freeze her root ginger and then she came up with this idea. As root ginger is called for in so many recipes these days its just so quick and easy to grab straight away out of the fridge. This is brilliant because you can either prepare as little or as much ginger as you wish, its best to make a lot when the good quality ginger is in season!! You only have to make this once a year as it keeps indefinately. I will value your comments with this one

Recipe #128838

This is one of my all time favorite WW recipes. I serve it to company all of the time, and no one ever guesses its low fat! I have used ravioli instead of pierogies and have added ham for variation. Recipe as written is 5 points.

Recipe #102548

These can do service a lot of ways. You can up the sugar to 2 tablespoons and serve it with butter and syrup for breakfast, or add ½ cup of diced ham and ½ cup of diced cheddar and it makes a great lunch. My favorite way to have them is to add a few dashes of Tabasco, ½ teaspoon of Hungarian hot Paprika and use the waffle as a base for a big pile of spicy chili. Sometimes it’s hard to find Yellow self-rising cornmeal, but the white works as well, it just looks kind of anemic... The basic recipe is below, have fun playing with it.

Recipe #165430

this is another level of cornbread...its moist, tasty and very sophisticated with a taste that leaves u wanting more and more. u never make 1 and become satisfied with it. i am from the west indies so i decided 2 caribbean-ise the cornbread and i am sure that u will love it just as much as i did. happy eating! :)

This recipe is from Isa Chandra (post punk kitchen). It's easy, elegant and lemony. Pure Bliss! I tend to double the sauce, just because it is that good. Serve over mashed potatoes.

Recipe #478751

Yummy and easy. Cut out the tortilla and save some calories.

Recipe #485989

This recipe is from Vegetarian Times April 2010 edition. I love pesto and when I you can use broccoli I just had to try it. The recipe calls for hazlenuts, which I didn't have so I used toasted almonds. I think next time I make this I will use it on white pizza. Ummm it's so good!

Recipe #418603

An accompaniment for Indian dishes. It's sort of the Indian equivalent of onion rings. It's deep fried, and doesn't sit well for long, so it's important to sequence cooking it so it comes out of the fryer and goes onto the plate. As with any recipe I submit, the ingredient quantities are a baseline, not exact, and I recommend you adjust them to your taste and type.

a tangy south indian dish. http://cookitupwithricha.blogspot.in/
