Are you a cad vegan warrior whenever the festive season comes around? Feel outta place with no eggnog in hand? Not a problem. Get out your blender and whip up the best eggless nog on the block. After a couplt of spiked cups, no one will be able to tell the difference.
My mummy always makes the best pizzas with this recipe--topping of your choice. If you put extra cheese around the edges, then roll it up to make the crust. You can get a stuffed-crust which works really well
Delicious pudding in minutes, with all natural ingredients! I just started looking into the Raw Food Movement, but I've been trying to avoid highly processed foods for a while now. Standard pudding is on of the worst offenders, where processed foods are concerned. Raw Foodists make pudding using bananas or avocados for base. I've tried both, but I prefer the banana "puddings."
This is a great substitute for traditional, dairy-filled eggnog! I modified it from a recipe on the Soy Dream website. The original recipe called for 1/4 cup Amaretto, Southern Comfort, brandy, or alcohol of your choice. That would be great for special occassions, but I wanted a non-alcoholic version to drink on a regular basis, and this worked out great. It's frothy and delicious. If you like your eggnog even creamier, feel free to add a couple more ounces of tofu.
This delicious sandwich is a re-creation of one I ate in a lovely lunch cafe in Natchitoches, Louisiana. This was served with slices of fresh melon, kiwi, strawberries, and orange on the side drizzled with some honey mustard dressing.
If you are not a raw food vegan then try this recipe with an open mind. Raw foodists try not to cook anything if they can avoid it. I haven't tried this recipe but posted it because it looked interesting.
This is a Chinese dessert that I found to submit for the Zaar World Tour '05...
Coconut milk lends a sweet flavor to bananas in this quick and easy recipe. It makes a light dessert for two, or can easily be doubled to serve four people.
