This can be served on it's own or served as a side. You may need 3 zucchini depending on the size. But this is so easy to make, and a great way to use up zucchini that you can't give away for love nor money!.

This one is an African inspired recipe with fruit and vegetables. I like to serve this in bowls on top of some basmati rice.

    Recipe #130178

This one comes from Eating Well Magazine. Don't let the anchovies put you off. They add a nutty, salty flavor and along with the garlic and crushed red pepper, this dish is delicious.

    Recipe #245506

This recipe was posted to I'm posting here for ZWT III. It appears to be very easy and quick to make. If you love cabbage as much as I do, this sounds like a winner.

    Recipe #373003

This dish was brought to our September 2007 potluck dinner by Ken Jaffe, our President. Several people requested the recipe, so we posted it here. NOTE: A member who made it said that she doubled the red pepper flakes, used 1 can of beans, used dried parsley, omitted the salt and pepper, and cooked it for an hour. Those changes are reflected in the recipe.

    Recipe #256713

From Taste of Home, a fast and simple side dish that's well-seasoned and fairly low in fat.

    Recipe #112706

from the Whole Foods Market website... I might try it for Thanksgiving dinner.

    Recipe #398262

This was the first time I made Fennel... so I just put things I really like together. (I bet you could add just about any other vegetable to this!) Well it was so very yummy and received raves from my family. I find it incredibly easy and a perfect make ahead dish that frees up time when entertaining. I served it with salmon and it was exquisite!

    Recipe #384068

I found this on the web and it refers to a Jamie Oliver recipe. So I hope I am giving credit where credit is due! Always love roasted vegetables. I personally use as little of the oil as possible.

    Recipe #382635

This dish can change to fit the seasons and is an ideal way to use up small quantities of different vegetables. Feel free to vary according to your preferences. I do not add the cheese as my children do not eat it.

What a delicious side dish to have with your grilled steak! I love cooking mushrooms when I am grilling. I can just put them on and pretty much forget about them. They don't really overcook, unless you burn them! Take your time with them if you want to. You can also cook them at a higher heat, but you really have to make sure you don't burn the garlic. Enjoy!

    Recipe #380352

Our family really likes brussels sprouts, and adding cheese and bacon makes this an irresistable side vegetable.

    Recipe #286251

We've all heard of roasting pumpkin seeds -- now you can roast the pumpkin too! Makes a colourful and tasty side dish for a number of meals, but I especially like it with chicken or fish. Feel free to try different spices or just use salt and pepper for a more simple but equally good version.

    Recipe #41780

I found this recipe in a group of newspaper clippings I have, and decided to make it a few nights ago. The crunchy topping gives a nice texture when used with the creamy filling. Be sure not to overcook the cauliflower -- it should be slightly undercooked as it will finish up when the casserole is in the oven.

After much searching...I found a yummy Indonesian recipe that is not already posted here at Zaar. It looks very uncomplicated, not TOO exotic & delicious. If you make this before me (next week), please let me know what you think. This particular version was on somebody's blog...most of the other versions I found hadn't been translated!

    Recipe #188184

Brussels sprouts and walnuts fit together well because of the intense woodiness from the walnuts bring out the leafiness of the Brussels sprouts. This matches well with my Recipe #340658. Enjoy.

    Recipe #340432

This recipe was inspired by Rachael Ray's recipe of the same name. I've changed or removed several ingredients, but it's still flavorful and filling. Enjoy!

    Recipe #374393

By Scott Weaver, Executive Chef, Elephants Delicatessen

    Recipe #371957

I found this on Food By Giada De Laurentiis.
