I came up with this while cooking up a pot of homemade spaghetti sauce actually! I was getting kinda tired and needed a pick me up, but wanted a little somethin' somethin' in there, too! So made me a cappuccino and added some liqueurs for fun! Turned on some music, danced in my kitchen, and never had so much fun cooking dinner! :)
I was making myself a steak panini with the leftovers of my steak that I had had for dinner the night before, added havarti cheese, and wanted a nice sauce to go on it. So I just looked in the fridge and came up with this crazy concoction! It was SO GOOD, I decided to not keep it a secret! What's the fun of it if you don't share? Hope you enjoy it as much as I did!
I made these for my hubby and I the other day, and they were so good, he asked if I was going to add it to zaar, LOL! (I think he was hinting so I wouldn't forget how I made it! Too funny!) Anyways, we inhaled them! Hope you like them, too! I've simplified the recipe to make just one, but you can adjust it to how ever many you need to make, of course. Have a wonderful lunch! :)
My own creation using sun-dried tomato pesto, bacon and artichoke hearts instead of lettuce, topped with mozzarella cheese! Makes a quick, easy and delicious lunch or appetizer. (Cheese variation suggestions included.) *Recipe is for just 4 SLICES french bread, not 4 loaves, zaar glitch LOL!
Thick, rich and hearty beef stew that is anything BUT bland, if you know what I mean! It took me several years to perfect this recipe, and I'm proud to say that it was recently published in Taste of Home magazine! I'm a Midwest meat and potatoes kind of girl, and always liked beef stew, but it was always just "ok". Even people that say they don't care for spicy foods really liked it! Hope you try it! Enjoy!
NOT bragging, but everyone says this is simply the best banana bread they've ever had. Blueberries are one of my FAV fruits and I put them in everything!I LOVE to make it, especially since it makes 2 loaves. We keep one and always give the other one away. :)
I've always felt so un-american not caring for apple pie! I LOVE pears, so one year I decided to come up with a PEAR pie! Here's my recipe, and I must say, it really is good!!! Hope you give it a try. Even if you're an apple pie lover, this is a nice treat from the norm.
