Bacon wrapped sweet onions on skewers. Nice.

    Recipe #409310

I have fallen in love with the Subway golden broccoli soup. However I found that it was high in fat. I found a recipe of a copy cat on the internet and tweaked to fit my low fat/ calorie lifestyle. 2/16/10 I tried making this soup again this time I didn't use preshredded reduced fat cheese. I grated my own using cracker barrell 2% sharp chedder. This made a huge difference the cheese integrated nicely and the soup was smooth.

Moist, tender muffins, brimming with the most scrumptious, buttery streusel. Note: This is one of my favorite recipes- so I felt terrible to see that a reviewer had problems with the recipe! It really is a wonderful recipe- but you have to be really careful not to over-mix!

A hit with the kids and adults in my house - super simple and budget-conscious to boot. I adapted this recipe slightly from Sandi Richard's Family Dinner Fix cookbook.

    Enchiladas Santa Fe

    Recipe #406616

I got this recipe from a random internet search when I was looking for a salad dressing to serve during my French-themed dinner night. This totally reminds me of something I've eaten in a restaraunt...it's so good, and ended up being my favorite part of the entire meal! Best served over a bed of mixed organic baby greens. There aren't a lot of ingredients, so substitutions are not recommended.

This recipe is not vegetarian. This recipe is from the kitchen of a local Thai restaurant near my home town.

This is served with the Roasted Filet Focaccia Sandwich. One of our favorite sandwiches.

Cassoulet is one of the best of the myriad of traditional European dishes that combine beans and meat to produce wonderful rich, robust stews. This recipe maintains that spirit, but is much faster, easier, less expensive, and more contemporary, emphasizing the beans and vegetables over meat. (That probably makes it more, not less, traditional, since meat was always hard to come by before the mid-twentieth century.) The main recipe starts with already cooked beans or canned beans and is ready relatively fast. To begin with dried beans, see the variation; it takes more time, but the results are even better.

    Recipe #395683

This is the snack mix recipe that I have used for many years for holidays and other occasions where we have family over. It tastes amazing and is way better than the store bought alternatives, in my opinion. Give it a try and let me know what you think. :)

Not sure where the name came from on this one, but this looks like a delicious and easy breakfast dish. Haven't tried it yet, but certainly will!
