    Courtesy of Tyler Florence from Tyler's Ultimate. These looked and sounded so good that I posted this for all to share. June 10/2009 - we keep on making these and here are some of the ideas. We grilled the onions instead of caramelizing them on the stove, added Dijon mustard to the herbed mayo & added it with the scallions & chopped-up parsley & also, added Cheddar both white & sharp (added a nice kick)!

    I made these last week and loved their juicy texture. Despite the involved directions, I added a few timesavers and didn't find them any more difficult than regular meatballs (mixed in my Kitchen Aid). They freeze great. I put leftover frozen ones in crockpot with jarred gravy and cream of mushroom soup. Note: I've never made the lingonberry sauce but mix a can of cream of Mushroom soup with a half can milk for a creamy sauce.

    I saw this on Food Network today and it looks awesome! Two of the bananas are creamed and two are mashed chunky and folded in to give some texture. For an even greater treat, toast the slices of banana bread and dust with confectioners' sugar just before serving.

    This is soooo good! I have made this 3 or 4 times now, so have adjusted it to our liking. I use 1 lb. of shrimp instead of the 1/2 lb, and green onion instead of the shallots. You can use green cabbage or Bok Choy instead of the Napa cabbage if you can't find it. Use your imagination, I have added diced red pepper, bean sprouts (at the end for some crunch.) If snap peas or snow peas are in season, I use them instead of the peas. I think some chopped cashews on top instead of the peanuts would be good as well. This is from Food Network, Tyler Florence.     I saw this on an episode of Tyler's Ultimate. Definitely a twist on mashed potatoes - you boil the potatoes in milk/cream instead of water, then use the liquid when mashing. Curious to see if this would work with buttermilk to save some calories. Can't wait to try it!

    My son's favorite food is pot pie and "complains" he does not get enough of it. Couple that reason with my in-law's visiting and needing an impressive dish, I used my leftover turkey from Thanksgiving and made this BIG pot pie. This definitely was a "wow" dish. The crust is downright beautiful, with its many deep layers that resemble puff pastry. It cuts beautifully and best of all you can make it in advance. Don't let the long instructions deter you. I make a lot of pot-pies and it really didn't take too much longer and the amount it makes is worth it.I did do a few shortcuts and it made it simpler and not as daunting.
