    Recipe #269825

    3 Reviews |  By Scoutie

This is soooo good! I have made this 3 or 4 times now, so have adjusted it to our liking. I use 1 lb. of shrimp instead of the 1/2 lb, and green onion instead of the shallots. You can use green cabbage or Bok Choy instead of the Napa cabbage if you can't find it. Use your imagination, I have added diced red pepper, bean sprouts (at the end for some crunch.) If snap peas or snow peas are in season, I use them instead of the peas. I think some chopped cashews on top instead of the peanuts would be good as well. This is from Food Network, Tyler Florence. Hope you enjoy!

    Recipe #394140

This recipe was found on foodnetwork.ca. This is the first chili dog sauce that I have tried. I found it a little sweet (as a lot of the reviewers stated) and had to tweak it. I think it is due to using ketchup as it has a lot of sugar. I added an additional teaspoon of chili powder, three dashes of Worcestershire sauce, a 1/4 teaspoon of red chili flakes and approximately 1 teaspoon of hot sauce. The weird thing was that I couldn't taste it much once on a bun with a BBQ wiener. Is it my taste buds? In the pan, it was tasty :D

This is a GREAT make ahead gravy, even a day ahead! There is an error in the directions tho. I watched the show and after he was done roasting the wing and vegetables, he added the flour and stock and then added the turkey wing back in before simmering for about 15 minutes more. This gravy warms up beautifully, and is an extreme crowd pleaser and EASY. From Tyler Florence at Food Network. Hope you enjoy!

    Recipe #368028

Adapted from a recipe by Tyler Florence in _Stirring the Pot_, as published at http://tinyurl.com/deb7f5 Original recipe calls for brioche; I put the challah first to get reasonable nutritional information (brioche is not in the database).

    Recipe #354962

From "Tyler's Ultimate," episode "Ultimate Indian Dinner." Fresh curry leaves (or frozen) may be found in Indian, Pakistani or Asian markets. Use fresh, rather than dried, bay leaves if you can find them. Serve with basmati rice; add salt and a couple of thick slices of fresh ginger to the water while steaming the rice for added flavor.

    Recipe #354963

Tyler Florence's recipe for chicken and spinach samosas. From "Tyler's Ultimate," episode "Ultimate Indian Dinner." Madras is definitely the preferred style of curry powder, and you need pure ground chili pepper, not chili powder (which is usually blended with oregano, garlic, onion and salt).

I made this last year for Thanksgiving, my very first bird...it was absolutely amazing and made me look super impressive! I am making it again this year too. My husband said I had too, LOL! I found this recipe on the Food Network in 2007. The key to my turkey last year, however, was I Brined it with Recipe#13961 and finished it using this recipe and even made Caramelized Onion and Cornbread Stuffing as a Dressing, which goes along with this Turkey. Another Tyler Florence ULTIMATE! Note: Cooking time does not include the step of Brining it the night before if you choose to do so. Enjoy!
