This is a new recipe that I just tried yet. Wow! What flavor!! Just right for the Christmas goodie platter. I tried a batch with the dark rum and then tried another using Malibu, a light coconut rum. I really prefer the Malibu rum in this recipe.
This is an easy to make and yummy truffle. You can add different flavorings to make them uniquely yours! Great for gift giving - Melt in your mouth!! My kids and I do Christmas baskets full of nothing but homemade goodies - this is one of the favorites! (My cooking time is actual time "assembling" the truffles) Servings are approx - depends on how many you give to each person and how many you eat while making them :-) I usually get about 50 from each batch.
This is not being posted in time for Valentine's Day or any other time - they are for all the time. These are delectable and make the perfect treat for your sweetie! These have to be made ahead of time, cooling times are about 7 hours or longer. Found this on landolakes.com.
This comes from the new Taste of Home. Haven't tried them yet, but want to post them to save the recipe on Zaar!! I love truffles, so will be making them for my gift trays this season. Cooking/prep times are approximate due to chilling, etc.
I have never made truffles before but this recipe I can't resist ! Bittersweet chocolate with coffee liqueur and vodka, rolled in chopped walnuts. This will be perfect for holiday entertaining and gifts. Thank you Recipe Institute! Prep time does not include refrigerating overnight.
