This is a new recipe that I just tried yet. Wow! What flavor!! Just right for the Christmas goodie platter. I tried a batch with the dark rum and then tried another using Malibu, a light coconut rum. I really prefer the Malibu rum in this recipe.

    Recipe #105207

This is an easy to make and yummy truffle. You can add different flavorings to make them uniquely yours! Great for gift giving - Melt in your mouth!! My kids and I do Christmas baskets full of nothing but homemade goodies - this is one of the favorites! (My cooking time is actual time "assembling" the truffles) Servings are approx - depends on how many you give to each person and how many you eat while making them :-) I usually get about 50 from each batch.

The recipe for these tasty little morsels was found on the back of a pkt of coconut flakes, thought it sounded really nice & it is, simple too!

A nice treat for Valentines Day! Got this recipe from Gourmet December 2004 Truffles can be chilled, covered after 1 hour, up to 2 days. Coat with cocoa powder up to 1 hour before serving.

This comes from the new Taste of Home. Haven't tried them yet, but want to post them to save the recipe on Zaar!! I love truffles, so will be making them for my gift trays this season. Cooking/prep times are approximate due to chilling, etc.

These sweet little confections will disappear quickly. Make extras to keep in the freezer for spur of the moment special occasions.

I have never made truffles before but this recipe I can't resist ! Bittersweet chocolate with coffee liqueur and vodka, rolled in chopped walnuts. This will be perfect for holiday entertaining and gifts. Thank you Recipe Institute! Prep time does not include refrigerating overnight.

Saw this on the Barefoot Contessa Inactive Prep Time: 1 hour 30 minutes Yield: 60 truffles

Peanut Butter and Chocolate are just 2 of my taste addictions. These truffles are fantastic, better than the peanut butter cups I used to devour while I was growing up.
