My late MIL had a recipe for everything! Her chilled cucumber soup is unique with a slight taste of mint. Very refreshing on a hot summer day.

    Recipe #389678

There's nothing like fresh, sushi-grade tuna mixed with the zingy flavors of ginger, lime, and Tamari. Serve with flatbread and sparkling wine. Enjoy!

    Recipe #391054

This is a variation of a delicious salad my late FIL used to make. So refreshing and good with many dishes...grilled fish, roasted chicken to name a couple. Use my Recipe #224936 if you don't have your own ready in the fridge. Kids love this salad, too!

    Recipe #347963

Another delicious fresh drink from Nevis, West Indies. This is super healthy!

    Recipe #331171

This is my weekday breakfast. I sometimes add non-fat vanilla yogurt and granola. Add whatever fruits you can get fresh, strawberries, orange, watermelon... This is my summertime variety. When looking for honey, try and find your local honey, it's very good for you.

    Recipe #318657

My DH's very young uncle served this to us one night. It's so fresh and delicious with tortilla chips and ice cold beer. Great summer app! I like to add chopped cilantro and a bit of lime juice, also.

    Recipe #313436

This recipe is from La Bonne Cuisine Cookbook. It’s a great base. I usually start with this and add whatever else I have available like fresh herbs or chopped green onions, shallots, lemon zest… Place in the refrigerator and let all the flavors soak in for a couple of hours. Great hors d’oeuvre!

    Recipe #312146

If you've never had a molasses vinaigrette, you should try it. Its unique flavor is so good on spinach salad! This recipe comes from The Yokona River Inn in Oxford, Mississippi.

    Recipe #291837

When tomatoes are in abundance here's a unique salad recipe you may want to try. The original came from Bon Appetit and suggested adding Feta. My family prefers Mozzarella so whatever cheese you want to use would be up to you, or leave it out altogether. Great summer-time tastes!

    Recipe #240086

Long ago, before I could just throw a vinaigrette together, I started with this recipe. It's called The Best Vinaigrette Dressing in the Celebrations on The Bayou cookbook, put out by the Junior League of Monroe, Louisiana. The recipe calls for white wine vinegar but you can use either red or white wine or champagne vinegars. And, it's delicious with Feta crumbled over your green salad. 7/2013: Added a tweak of a little agave or honey to soften the taste.

    Recipe #225142

This is a refreshing, summer-time salad dressing. I use this dressing on assorted greens, a diced apple, and toasted pecans. Use your favorite salad and try this warm-weather dressing. Great with grilled fish.

    Recipe #224936

This refreshing drink was invented by Tony Abou-Ganim, Master Mixologist, at the Bellagio in Las Vegas. The colors remind me of sunset, and the taste is out of this world!

    Recipe #223621

For an easy, tasty, and different twist on the tomato-mozzarella salad, try this dressing. The tastes of the Balsamic and Soy are so good together!

    Recipe #223242

So refreshing and healthy and the perfect side dish for any dinner! We had this with oven roasted Prime rib, Recipe #333367 and Recipe #332706 with some crusty Italian bread and garlic butter.
