Strawberries and cream trifle is a lovely traditional English spring or summertime dessert of luscious fresh strawberries nestled amongst layers of sponge cake, sherry laced preserves, and fresh whipped cream arranged in a pretty glass trifle dish. If desired, add a layer of freshly prepared custard sauce recipe #286831. Delicious! A beautiful addition to the dessert table, or for a ladies luncheon or Afternoon Tea.

A wonderful quick and easy trifle for Easter, or anytime! Luscious lemon filling plus fresh strawberries and whipped cream are layered with angel food cake cubes in this delicious variation on my Strawberries and Cream Trifle. Tip: Can be made using part lemon curd and part lemon pie filling for a more lemony-tart version. Yum! I like to make this trifle in the morning or a day in advance, and then chill until ready to serve. Can be made in a large trifle bowl, or in individual dessert glasses. Enjoy!

My mother-in-law sent this recipe to me. I think it came from the Kraft website. I'm putting it here so that I don't lose it. Prep time includes refrigeration time.

The perfect summer dessert. Not your ordinary strawberry shortcake!

Almost too pretty to eat. You'll love all the Ooo's and Ahhh's from this dessert! I received this recipe at a woman's golf tournament -- dish to pass event! Excellent!!

Awesome! This gives a whole new meaning to strawberry shortcake. Great dessert for after any meal and a definite crowd pleaser and easy to prepare. (cooking time is estimated chill time.)

If you are like our family and looking for delicious, beautiful, easy, kid friendly plus a healthier dessert, try my mother's recipe --an old family favorite. This is our tradition for the Fourth of July, and sons request this being served. I tell anyone I serve this to that only angels can eat this:) My adult sons have fought over who gets to lick the bowl clean-they are fun. This is a trifle so you should show it off in a beautiful clear bowl. Sometimes I have used fresh raspberries with a white chocolate pudding instead of vanilla. The time does NOT include the chilling time of 2 hours. I think this could easily be changed to fit diabetic diets. Also, you can set aside some of the pudding mixture, cake, and berries into separate portions and assemble the next day, if you cannot eat the entire recipe the first day. When I do that, I use my individual clear glass bowls to show off. Enjoy and have more!

A very easy dessert. Kids and adults go ape over this one! Make sure you make the day before you serve, to soften the Oreo cookies. Prep time includes chill time.

WOW WOW WOW...I don't know how to describe this...if you like KAHLUA and Chocolate, MAKE THIS! I don't mean to yell, but I can't contain myself :) Several hours of chill time are required, so keep that in mind.

My MIL gave me this recipe, she got it from her SIL, it is delicious. She makes it for all our family get togethers.

I have made zillions of trifles in my lifetime, but this one is fantastic. Toffee bits are unavailable where I live, so I always have visitors bring me some just to make this (usually for them).

Do you like chocolate? You have to try this one. You really won't die, but you will think you have died and go to heaven. The prep time includes making the cake.

I have not tried this recipe. I got it from Tops courtesy of California Strawberry Commission.

I made this recipe up about 20 years ago. Its a yellow cake version of a strawberry shortcake but you use vanilla pudding and real whipped cream, not Cool Whip. Using real whipped cream definitely makes a difference. It doesn't last in this house, thats why I make two. :)

When our daughter played basketball one of the mom's brought this to a dinner and I have been making it ever since. You can also use your favorite candy bar ie: butterfinger etc. I also put it in a trifle bowl and it's the hit of the party.

Elegant, rich, and BEYOND description--don't let the long list of ingredients or directions put you off--this is WELL worth the effort!!!--my family looks forward to our annual FIRST raspberry picking of the year--because THIS is the first thing I make, and we gobble it up! The authentic old-time kind of pound cake--makes three loaf-pans. Use one for this recipe, freeze the other two for future use (you'll want to make this more than once!). Trifle makes enough for ONE large serving bowl. Cooking time is "chilling time"
